People leaving organized religion are finding that they still need each other. The First Unitarian Society of Minneapolis (FUS) has successfully restructured its facility access and programs to meet this need.  Some exciting outreach opportunities will be described along with learnings that can be applied to “open up” UU congregations.

Speakers from FUS will be Rev. Dr. David Breeden, Senior Minister, and Kevin Jagoe, Meadville Lombard seminarian and Media Coordinator and Youth Director. UUHA Executive Director Maria Greene will also introduce the new Freethinker Friendly program, which is a way for UU congregations everywhere to reach out to and welcome those who identify as nonreligious.
